What I Like About You is an American TV show that ran for four seasons on the WB network. The show had lovable characters portrayed by an amazing cast who made us laugh each week and kept us coming back for more.
The What I Like About You cast stars Jennie Garth and Amanda Bynes as sisters living together in a small New York City apartment. Jennie Garth is known for her character Kelly on the 1990s series 90210 which ran for 10 years. Jennie Garth's character is uptight, older sister, Val Tyler.
Amanda Bynes plays the free-spirited, younger, teenage sister, Holly Tyler. Amanda Bynes got her start on Nikelodeon's All That, which lead to her won TV show The Amanda Show. Amanda Bynes brought much of the comic relief to What I Like About You, and has gone on to star in many movies since the show ended its run in 2006.
Leslie Grossman started out on another WB series Popular before she was cast as the quirky friend to Val, Lauren. Leslie Grossman brought the quirky, strange, and weird to another level. Lauren was also a bit ditzy and Val was constantly helping her out of strange situations.
Wesley Jonathan plays Holly's best friend Gary Thorpe. Gary is a typical girl-crazy guy who starts the series as a sort of nerd, but ends up much more suave and a little conceited. He offers Holly advice and helps her get into her fair share of trouble.
Allison Munn joined the cast in season two as Holly's new friend, Tina Haven. Tina is a sex obsessed girl, who claims she isn't a slut, but her actions are opposite. The first time she meets Holly, Holly lies about a pregnancy test being hers to protect Tina from her mom. Gary and Tina butt heads through the entire series, but in the end they wind up together.
Michael McMillian plays Henry Gibson, Holly's first boyfriend. Henry is awkward, shy, and goofy in an accidental way. His humor and heart is what wins Holly over and he is the first boy she says 'I love you' too.
Nick Zano joined the cast in the second season as Vince. Vince is a muscled, somewhat conceited boy, but he has a sensitive side and a secret crush on Holly. Vince later becomes trapped in a love triangle with Holly and Henry, when Holly develops feelings for Vince but still loves Henry. Vince stays for two seasons and doesn't show up in the final season until the end.
The cast of What I Like About You is unique and talented. They are the reason viewers kept coming back each week.
