The title song of what I like about you show

It was in 1980, The Romantics released the series with the title from a song with the same title. The cover of the song by Lillix was used as theme song and also as sound track of Freaky Friday and 13 going on 30. Later, Philip Steir remixed the theme song in to a techno dance style theme.

The opening sequence of pilot episode was with classic animation series with show's logo. Apart from the sequence of cast member's name as in first, the letters "i" and "o" covered the screen and word "what" sliding fron left, "like" fluctuating in size, "ab" and "ut" of about sliding from both sides of the screen and alphabets in "you" slides up form bottom of screen to smack rest of title in place.

Opening sequence of initial 'what I like about you' show was mixed with home movies of three sets of two girls each. A sequence of six seconds in the beginning and two seconds in the end, of younger version Holly and Val, Amanda Bynes and Jennie Garth sticking their tongues out at the camera for four seconds near the beginning and two seconds near the end of the sequence and scenes from the first four episodes, all scenes outlined by rounded rectangles and all of those animating from right to left of the screen. Every two to five clips were video headshots of each cast members with their names. in the episode "Valentine's Day" newer episode scenes were inserted twice and in "The Fix-Up", nearly all clips from the first four episodes were replaced. Digitally inserted scenes of New York at night included the opening title sequence used for the rest of the series; the sequence was modified two times. Stephen Dunham's video headshots were removed and the video of the cast after the show's title was replaced with video of Amanda Bynes and Jennie Garth in the episode "The Incredible Shrinking Group". All traces of Michael McMillian were removed from the sequence in episode "The Longest Night of the Year" was the second modification. The footage of McMillian was replaced with the added footage.
