What I Like About You captured attention for the four years it was on. The series starred Amanda Bynes and Jennie Garth as sisters raising each other in New York City. Jennie Garth played Val Tyler, the older, organized, slightly neurotic sister. Amanda Bynes played Holly, Val's high energy, teenage sister.
Throughout the seasons, Holly and Val both had their fair share of drama and struggles in their love lives. The final two episodes wrap everything up so the series can end without huge questions. However, it does not lack drama, humor, and the chaos fans had grown to love.
During the final season, Val marries her old boss, Vic, during a drunken night in Atlantic City. Val wants to get an annulment, Vic doesn't. Vic tells Val to wait for six months and then if she still feels the same way, he will sign the papers. Of course, before the time is up Val falls for Vic; however, they discover their marriage isn't really legal. Val decides she wants to marry him in an official wedding.
Holly finally tells Vince she loves him and they finally get together. However, Vince ends up getting hired by an ex-girlfriend to work a real estate job. Holly tries to tell Vince his ex-girlfriend wants him back, but Vince refuses to believe her. Holly and Vince end up breaking up. Vince gets a promotion and is offered a job in Chicago. After he decides to take the job, Holly avoids him because she can't say goodbye.
This leads to the final episode. In the final episode of What I Like About You, Lauren takes Val and Holly to the spa hours before the wedding as a gift. While at the spa, SWAT comes in and locks the place down while searching for escaped convicts. The girls are trapped at the spa, while the wedding is about to begin. Holly finally figures out a way to get out, by riding a horse through the forest, and they make it to the wedding on time. Val and Vic get married. Gary and Tina finally admit their love for each other, and a boy from Holly's love life comes back and admits his love for her.
The final episode is full of humor and fun. It is the perfect wrap up to a great show.
